These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your booking of services (massage, wellness treatments) or purchase of products (Thalgo and other retail items). By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
A. Massage & Wellness Services
Our massage and wellness services are for relaxation, stress reduction, and general well-being. They are not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment.
No results guaranteed: We do not guarantee any specific outcome or result from our services (e.g., pain relief, improved mobility, or any other therapeutic effect). Individual results vary and depend on many factors outside our control.
Doctor consultation required for certain conditions: You confirm that you have consulted with a qualified medical professional if you have any of the following:
Recent surgery or injury
Chronic illness (e.g., cancer, heart disease, diabetes)
Infectious skin condition
Fever or acute illness
Pregnancy (first trimester – massage only with doctor's note)
Blood clots or thrombosis
Osteoporosis or severe bone conditions
Any condition where massage may be contraindicated
You assume all risks: By booking a massage, you acknowledge that you have disclosed all relevant health information and that you assume the risk of any adverse effects.
B. Thalgo & Retail Products
We sell Thalgo brand skincare and beauty products. These products are cosmetic, not medicinal.
We do not claim that any product will cure, treat, or prevent any medical condition.
Product descriptions are based on manufacturer information. We are not liable for allergic reactions– always patch test first.
If you have a known allergy, check the ingredient list before purchasing.
2. Bookings Through Treatwell
We use Treatwell as our third-party booking platform. By booking through Treatwell, you also agree to Treatwell's own terms and conditions.
Important limitations:
We are not responsible for technical issues, downtime, or errors on Treatwell's platform.
Your payment information is processed by Treatwell, not by us. We do not store your payment details.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and Treatwell's terms, Treatwell's terms govern the booking process, but these Terms govern the actual service delivery
3. Cancellation Policy
A. Standard Cancellation
You must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 50% of the service price.
No-shows (you do not arrive and do not cancel) will be charged 100% of the service price.

C. Exceptions
In case of sudden illness or emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We may waive the cancellation fee at our discretion, especially if you provide a doctor's note.
D. Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your session to avoid delaying the next client. No price adjustment will be made for shortened sessions due to late arrival. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we may cancel your appointment and charge the full no-show fee.
4. Health & Safety
We reserve the right to refuse or stop a massage session at any time if:
We believe the service may harm your health (e.g., fever, contagious condition)
You behave inappropriately (see Section 5)
You are under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs
In such cases, you will still be charged the full price (or cancellation fee if we refuse before starting).
5. Appropriate Conduct & Boundaries
Massage therapy is a professional service. Any sexual or inappropriate behavior, comments, or advances will result in:
Immediate termination of the session
Full charge of the service price
Permanent ban from future bookings
Possible reporting to local authorities
By booking with us, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to conduct yourself appropriately.
6. Liability Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law:
We are not liable for any minor injuries (e.g., bruising, soreness, temporary discomfort) that may occasionally result from massage.
We are not liable for aggravation of pre-existing conditions that you failed to disclose.
We are not liable for allergic reactions to oils, lotions, or retail products; please inform us of any known allergies before treatment.
Nothing in this waiver limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by our proven fault.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Daniela Beauty, its owner, and its employees from any claims arising from your failure to disclose accurate health information.
7. Website Use, Images & Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Daniela Beauty and Wellness and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on this website. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this website for your own personal use, subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.
You must not:
Copy or republish material from this website
Sell, rent, or sub-license material from this website
Reproduce, duplicate, or copy material from this website
Redistribute content from this website

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from our services shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Basel.
